Pharrell Makes Good Non-Musical Use of YouTube
Now that YouTube's gone back to no-pop-promos basics - ie "this video is not available in your country, so be off with you to more illegal places" - it is good to see that the stars of music are still endeavouring to keep up a presence. Pharrell, in particular, has had a very good week. See:

Who Directed The New Bloc Party Video?
The new Bloc Party video, for the Armand van Helden remix of Signs, is what some might call "dark". That is because it has a singing mouth in it. In between a lady's legs. Fever Ray: Something Wicked This Way Comes
This morning we tried a little experiment, fond as we are of pop science on this here portal. It involved watching the new Fever Ray video for When I Grow Up with the sound turned down. Now then, When I Grow Up is the follow-up single to the really rather terrifying If I Had A Heart. And as if that first youtubulation was not scary enough, Fever Ray have now gone one better.
