Beyoncé Returns: A Thorough Analysis
Beyoncé Knowles is crackers. It's been clear for a while: considering her first album was called Dangerously In Love, and her first single Crazy In Love, she's been leaving the crazy crumbs all the way from daddy's house. But this is more obvious than ever with the concept of her new album, I Am..., out next month.

Peter Bjorn & John Talk Comfy Footwear, Recycling & Metallica
When we to spoke Peter out of Peter Bjorn and John last week, he was on a train. Just after he had just started telling us about their new instrumental album, he went into a tunnel, never to be seen again.

Free Download! Lake: Blue Ocean Blue
Free tuneage from Kimya Dawson labelmates Lake, who make very appealing pop which reminds us of Sufjan Stevens and, at least vocally, of She out of She & Him. WARNING: Dangerously good handclaps.

Another Well Good Thing Out On Monday: Robert Wyatt
We perhaps unfairly malign gentlemen of the bearded persuasion round these parts. To make up for it, here is the new videothing from top rock Grandad, Robert Wyatt.

If Next Week's Singles Were Biscuits, What Would They Be?
You know the drill - each Friday, next week's singles re-imagined as something new. This week, what kind of biscuits would Girls Aloud, Fall Out Boy and Bloc Party be? (PS - Sorry about the technical problems today - we should be all fixed now.)

Interview with The Organ's Katie Sketch: 'By the end, I feel like everyone was mentally ill'
Here's a cautionary tale for young bands. When The Organ split up in 2006, it came as a big surprise - they had waves of good press, a growing audience and seemed on the verge of breaking the UK. But by that point, as singer Katie Sketch (middle) explains in this candid and frank interview, everything was wrong. Here's the full story behind the band's break-up, and the real reason that they're releasing that posthumous EP.

Free Download! Filthy Dukes - Tupac Robot Club Rock (Kill Em All Remix)
We posted the video for Tupac Robot Radio Club Rock last Thursday, noting its probably-inspired-by-magnetic-poetry title and all-round Alter Ego-esque squelchy brilliance. So it's good news that we've found a way that you can have an equally jolly version of the same track for no pence.

Chairlift's Aaron Does The Questionnaire At 4am
A bit of background: we were mistakenly told to phone up Aaron from iPod advert beneficiaries Chairlift at 9am, UK time. He was just outside of New York. It was 4am his time. Luckily he was already awake because he had just had a really hot shower and the steam had set his fire alarm off. He thought we were his neighbours complaining, but we weren't - we were a website with stupidly taxing questions. Poor Aaron.
